North Texas RPG Con Photos

Me discussing the finer points of gaming philosophy with Rob Kuntz and Tim Kask.
Convention organizer Doug Rhea with an orange B3 and a 1st ed. Palace of the Vampire Queen from his extensive collection.
Jason "Philotomy" Cone's table delving into his campaign megadungeon, Cromlech Tor.
Tim Kask and Rob Kuntz: Thinking really hard about the early days of the game.
Dennis running his new Swords & Wizardry scenario, Ursined, Sealed, and Delivered, with help from co-DM "Taco John" Hershberger.
Awesome Erol Otus painting.
At the "Megadungeon" panel, Matt Finch and Allan "Grodog" Grohe check out the Megadungeon Quilt!?!

  1. Looks like a great time was had by all! Wish I had been there. Awesome quilt, too.

  2. @ ancientvaults: Thanks! :) I hadn't seen the quilt since we gave it as a baby shower gift: I'm glad to see that it hasn't faded too much. I look forward to the day that its owner (6 year-old Jack) stocks it and runs my son (5 year-old Eric) through it. That will make for two proud old-school gaming dads ;)

  6. I had no idea that you penned the Vile Worm. I would have told you how much I liked it. We played in Mythmere's game on Sunday morning. I was playing Werner the Cleric on your right.

Anyway, good job on that module and I look forward to more!

  7. Thanks for the kind words on "Vile Worm." I had a great time delving Mythrus Tower. Makes me wish I was paying in that campaign (or Philotomy's Cromlech Tor) regularly.
