Owl Con Live Blog Day 3.1
Well, the final round of games are about start. I expect things will start winding down after that. It's been fun! This was my first Owl Con and I though it was very cool. A good mix of games, well attended, and larger than I expected. It was also my first time hawking The Scribes of Sparn stuff at a sales booth, and that went well, too.

Scribes at OwlCon 20/20
The Scribes of Sparn will be in attendance at OwlCon 20/20 this weekend (Feb. 28 - Mar. 1) on the Rice University Campus in Houston, TX.
Planet Eris Co-DMs, Steven Clark and Norm Harman, will be running old-school versions of 2 classic scenarios: Tegal Manor & The Caves of Chaos! And Jimm Johnson, author of various & sundry Planet Eris materials, will be manning a sales table stocked with all of our modules, both old & new, and our latest offering-- The Planet Eris Gazetteer & World Map. The combination book & poster map will be on sale for only $15!

Planet Eris Gazetteer & World Map
UPDATE: The Planet Eris World Map & Gazetteer
are now available for sale in the
The Planet Eris Gazetteer & World Map are complete. A limited run was sold at NTRPG Con 2019, June 5-9 (and the response was fantastic!). We're aiming for general online release on October 31.
The map (a 24" x 36" poster on 100 lb. glossy paper) was done "in-house." Here's a sample of the map detail (at about ¼ resolution).
The booklet features a wicked cover piece by Peter Mullen (see top photo) and fantastic interior art by Rich Longmore along with Luigi Castellani and myself. Here are samples of the interior text and art.

CARTOGRAPHER WANTED for Planet Eris World Map
UPDATE: We're in the process of making a final selection on this, so we're not taking any new applicants at this time.

STYLE: The desired style of the map is gritty 70's fantasy similar to maps produced by Stonegiant (q.v., here), or physiographic 1950's textbook style similar to Erwin Raisz, (q.v., here), or perhaps a combination of both styles.
SCOPE: Below is a draft version of the Planet Eris map produced by Jimm Johnson. It is provided to help the prospective cartographer/artist visualize the scope of the project.
