  1. That is phenomenal. The technobabble alone is worth the price of admission, and then the object itself! I'm in love - how much more blankly, blandly alien and threatening could it be? And it's just one of a whole raft of Phantoms - my next character for Encounter Critical is going to be a test phantom, a step on the way to producing the Mythical and Fabled multi-purpose body phantom.

    If you don't want to write it up yourself, then this deserves to be a crowdsourced Abulafia type thing - I'm going to message Telecanter in case he missed it. Thank you.

    1. I'm not entirely sure what you said either. But I ran my first Encounter Critical session about 2 weeks back, so Hee! Haw!

I'm saying I have no idea what that thing is and the text just mystified me further, so it looks like an Encounter Critical! artifact to me, or maybe one of Telecanter's alien puzzle pieces, or a dungeon or a character or all of the above at once, and maybe we could get a few people together and make a collaborative d100 table (or bigger) with possibilities for what it might be and then post that on Abulafia (http://www.random-generator.com/index.php?title=Main_Page).

  4. Its a calibration cube for image guided radiation therapy which is to target certain cancers and growths with precise targeted burst of radiation. It also calls Xenobites when played with.
